Flexchange is a currency converter and exchange-rate tracker. We keep the data model focused on making the app work.

What We Collect

We collect minimal data needed to operate the app:

Anonymous account: Firebase Authentication may create an anonymous account so your preferences can sync across devices.
Currency preferences: The base currencies, target currencies, calculators, and related app settings you choose.
Basic analytics: Pseudonymous app and website usage data that helps us improve Flexchange. Website analytics may include a random browser identifier, pages viewed, App Store button clicks, referring page path without its query parameters, campaign parameters, and browser or device details.

What We Do Not Collect

Your name or email unless you contact us directly
Your location
Your bank account, card details, transactions, or financial history
Personally identifiable financial information

Third-Party Services

Flexchange may use Firebase for anonymous authentication, data storage, analytics, Cloud Functions, and messaging, and PostHog for product and website analytics. Premium subscriptions and App Store campaign attribution are processed through Apple App Store systems.

Data Storage

Your currency setup may be stored in Firebase Firestore. Exchange rates can be cached locally on your device for offline use.

Your Rights

If you delete the app, local app data is removed from your device. To request deletion of cloud data connected to your anonymous account, contact us.

Children's Privacy

Flexchange does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be reflected by updating this page.
